What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. Similar tools, such as the browser's local storage (localStorage), serve the same purpose. Some are needed for the site to work; others, for example, measure visits and require your consent.

Technical tools (always active)

The site does not use any technical cookies of its own. It only saves your cookie choice in your browser's local storage (key "mth_cookie_consent_v1"), so that we do not ask on every page. The choice is valid for 180 days, after which we ask again. No consent is needed for these tools.

Google Analytics statistics cookies (only with your consent)

If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, to understand in aggregate form which pages are visited and how the site is used. Before you make your choice, the Google tool is not loaded and stores nothing.

We have turned off advertising features, Google Signals and ad personalisation: the data is not used to show you ads. Statistical data is kept for 14 months.

• _ga: distinguishes visitors anonymously. Duration: 2 years.
• _ga_<ID>: keeps the session state. Duration: 2 years.

Profiling and advertising cookies

The site does not use profiling or advertising cookies, neither its own nor third-party ones.

How to change your choice

You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie preferences button at the bottom of every page. You can also delete cookies and stored data in your browser settings, or block Google Analytics on all websites with Google's browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout (opens in a new tab)).
