What data we process

• Data you send us through the quote request and machine search forms: first and last name, email, company, phone, message and details of the machine you are interested in. With the request we also receive the page you sent it from and the site language.
• Data you send us when you write or call us directly, including through the email button on the "Sell your machine" page.
• Technical browsing data, such as the IP address and browser type, needed to show you the pages and protect the site.
• Statistics on how the site is used, only if you accept Google Analytics cookies (see the cookie policy).

Why we process it and on what basis

• Replying to your requests, preparing quotes and handling negotiations: legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Managing any resulting contract and the related legal obligations, for example tax obligations: performance of the contract and legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• Keeping the site secure and blocking automated or abusive form submissions: legitimate interest of MTH (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Measuring in aggregate form how the site is used: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not use your data for newsletters, promotions or profiling, and we do not make decisions based solely on automated processing.

Required and optional data

In the forms, fields marked with * are needed to reply to you: without them we cannot handle the request. The other fields are optional.

How long we keep it

• Requests and correspondence: 12 months from the last contact, then deleted.
• If the request leads to a contract, accounting and contractual documents are kept for 10 years, as required by Italian law (Art. 2220 of the Civil Code).
• Technical browsing data: for the time strictly necessary for the operation and security of the service.
• Google Analytics statistical data: 14 months.

Who may receive it

The data is processed by authorised MTH staff and by providers acting on our behalf as data processors:

• Hostinger: domain and email, where requests sent from the site arrive.
• Railway: website hosting, on servers located in the European Union.
• Google: site usage statistics, only with your consent.
• Advisers and professionals, such as the accountant, only if the request leads to a contract.

Transfers outside the European Union

The site is hosted on servers in the European Union. Some providers (Railway and Google) are based in the United States: any data transfers take place under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, receive it in a readable format (portability) and object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15-21 GDPR). You can withdraw your consent to statistics cookies with the Cookie preferences button at the bottom of every page, without affecting processing already carried out.

To exercise your rights, write to info@mthsrl.com. If you believe the processing breaches the GDPR, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it (opens in a new tab)).
